I didn't come to health and wellness coaching from a textbook. I came from a lifetime of figuring it out myself.

I grew up in martial arts and spent fourteen years as a pianist, always drawn to the slow, emotional pieces over the fast and showy ones. That instinct still shapes how I coach. I don't believe in rushing transformation. I believe in depth, presence, and letting things unfold at the pace they need to.

For years I was doing all the right things for my health: training, dialing in nutrition, recovery work, refining what worked for my body. But when people asked what I did, the best I could offer was "trial and error." That wasn't good enough for me.

Then came the burnout. I tried talk therapy; it wasn't the right fit. What I needed was clarity, accountability, and a real framework for the mental side of wellness I'd been neglecting. A sabbatical, a marriage, and a yoga mat later, everything clicked. I finally had language for what I'd been doing intuitively for years.

Every certification I've pursued since is confirmation of something I've already lived.

I now use all of it, movement, nutrition, mindfulness, and hard-won experience, to help overwhelmed professionals stop spinning their wheels and make changes that actually stick. I'll sit with you in the messy middle, ask the questions that help you hear yourself clearly, and hold you accountable to the person you actually want to become, on your terms, at your pace.

When I'm not coaching, you'll find me on my yoga mat, in my garden, making art, playing video games, exploring Japanese culture, or being bossed around by my corgi.

If there's one thing that's been true my whole life, it's that I never stop learning. That curiosity just found a new home in helping people figure themselves out.
